Sail like covers are traditionally produced out of the real sail material: the Dacron.
This polyester fabric it’s not designed for continuative horizontal exposure under the
UV sun rays. The real plus of this material, apart from the "sail look", is the stiffness
that makes furling easy and crease free.
In order to solve this problem we have invented a new fabric by Aquastop.
The
fabric that weights 11 ounces. It is therefore suitable for larger covers. A 6
ounces lighter version is also available for smaller structures, but only in
the black and white colours. The name Dacron anti-UV is relative to the fabric
look rather than to its composition.
